NEWS 1515 (26-May-01)  3rd International ICC Computer Chess Tournament -- May 26-27, 2001
The strongest field ever has been assembled for the 3rd ICC Computer Chess
Tournament, known as CCT3. World Computer Chess champion and CCT2 winner
SHREDDER will battle all comers, including archrivals FRITZ and JUNIOR.
These monsters will be running "Deep" versions, using the latest dual
processor machines. Not to be outdone, the American challengers FERRET and
CRAFTY will be going deep on their quad Xeons.
32 programs from 12 countries will compete for the coveted title of
"ICC Computer Chess Champion."
Join Channel 64 for all the action. Commentary to be provided by noted
computer chess experts Vincent Diepeveen and Peter McKenzie, and perhaps
a "mystery guest." Most programs will be operated by the authors.
