ICC 15 0 Standard Championship WITH PRIZES starts August 10

The ICC 15 0 Standard Championship starts August 10th.
The Championship will consist of three stages:
Qualifiers, Candidates, and Finals.

Free-trial members are invited to play in the first stage, but they
cannot advance to later stages without registering for a paid membership
by midnight Saturday, August 16th.

The 15 0 Champs will also have an U2000 Champion and an U1600 Champion.
The top 4 finishers rated under 2000 and the top 4 finishers rated
under 1600 in each Qualifier will be invited to the respective Class
Finals.

other details about the class championships.

ICC is giving out membership extensions for the winners:

1st: 3 months, 2nd: 2 months, 3rd: 1 month.

The Under 1600 and Under 2000 Class Final winners earn 2 months of
free membership each!

The first stage will consist of 8 Qualifiers during the week of August
10-16.
The Qualifiers will be 6-round 15 0 swisses.
Qualifier #'s 1, 2, 4, 7, & 8 will be held on LittlePer in channel 225.
Qualifier #'s 3, 5, & 6 will be held on Slomato in channel 222.

The top 5 finishers in EACH individual Qualifier and top 4 in overall
Qualifier "series" (cumulative score from all qualifiers combined)
earn invitations to the Candidates Stage.

The schedule of Qualifiers is as follows (times listed are server time):

Week of August 10-16
SUN (August 10):  10am          7pm
MON (August 11):        2:15pm
TUE (August 12):                8pm
WED (August 13):                6pm
FRI (August 15):        2:15pm
SAT (August 16):   4am   2pm

To see server time while logged on ICC, type: date

No pre-registration is required for the Qualifiers.  There is no limit
to the number of Qualifiers one may play in.  To play in a Qualifier
tourney, just show up and type "tell LittlePer join !" if the Qualifier
is being held in LittlePer, or type "tell Slomato join !" if held in

Top finishers from Stage 1 will be invited to Stage 2, which consists of
two Candidates tourneys (6-round 15 0 swisses) the weekend of August
23-24.  The top 5 finishers in each Candidates tourney earn a spot in
the 15 0 Final which will be held at 2pm on Saturday, August 30.
