MAN versus MACHINE Match on ICC January 19, 5pm.

Internet Chess Club Match:  GM Mikhail Gurevich vs. Chess Genius

The Internet Chess Club will host a match between Grandmaster
Mikhail Gurevich and the computer player "CAROKANN" on ICC
on January 19 at 5pm EST (10pm GMT).

The match will be 2 games with a time control of 30 minutes per
player for the whole game.  Be sure to login and watch the match,
and whisper comments with the other spectators!

GM Gurevich will be logging in from Brussels, Belgium to play
the match.  He is the winner of over 30 International events,
and was Kasparov and Anand's second in their matches against
Karpov.

CAROKANN is a computer player on ICC running Chess Genius version
4, and is currently one of the top-rated computers on ICC.

The match is open to ICC members.  If you are not a member,
you can register for a free 7-day trial membership and watch
the match.  Type "register".
