Tune in to live relays of world chess events, including the World Championships, the US Championships, special Grandmaster vs. Grandmaster matches, and Grandmaster vs. Computer matches.
On the Internet Chess Club, people have the choice of seeing no comments,
all comments, or only titled commentary, when watching games. The titled
commentary automatically includes all players with FIDE FM, IM, and GM
titles. A few other people are granted temporary titles called DM (Display
Master), so that their comments can also be seen by those who are listening
to the titled commentary. These are usually admins, chess authors or strong
masters. A few computers are also granted "DM" titles so the computer
evaluations can be seen by ICC members watching the match.
"set kib 2" to hear only titled players when observing a game.
"set kib 1" to hear all kibitzes and whispers.
"set kib 0" to hear no kibitzes or whispers.
