ICC Help: tolerance

Variable:  tolerance
Usage:  set tolerance <level>

The ICC has implemented a system that can help you avoid seeing offensive language in all ICC communications (including personal tells).

Words that are considered offensive are replaced by asterisks. Your "tolerance" variable is a threshold which determines how readily this rule is applied. The maximum tolerance=999 lets all communications through as is, while tolerance=0 bleeps out all the words on its list. The default value is 4.

You can test the effect of various settings by using tells to yourself. Please do not test this using shouts or channel tells!

Please note: The introduction of this feature does not represent ANY change in ICC's policy toward the use of offensive language, as described in help atmosphere.
