A vendor is a strong chess player officially approved by
ICC to give lessons and other services to ICC members.
You can see a list of the current vendors with:

You can see the descriptions of the services of each vendor
by typing
help Services
on ICC. Students pay for the services of a vendor using the
ICC chekel system. If you are a titled FIDE player and are
interested in becoming a vendor, please read help new-vendor.
