ICC Guide :: The BlitzIn 2 Menu Bar

File menu

• New Connection -- opens up a new connection dialog box .
• Open Connection-- opens up a saved ICC profile.
• Reconnect -- reconnects to ICC, under the same profile.
• Close Connection -- closes the active window. If the main window is active, this disconnects you from ICC.
• Save -- saves auto-login information.
• Save As... -- saves auto-login information to a user-specified name.
• Log Console... -- saves subsequent messages in the active console to a text file
• Print -- not implemented yet
• Print Preview -- not implemented yet
• Print Setup.. -- controls printing properties
• Exit -- disconnects from ICC, and exits BlitzIn

Edit menu

• Copy -- copies the highlighted text to the Windows clipboard
• Paste -- pastes the contents of the Windows clipboard to BlitzIn
• Select All -- highlights all of the text in BlitzIn's text window

Game menu

• Seek a Game... -- opens the BlitzIn seek dialog box .
• Match... -- opens the BlitzIn match dialog box.
• Rematch -- challenges your last opponent to an identical match
• Resume -- checks for available opponents with whom you have adjourned games and challenges them, if possible
• Flip -- toggles the orientation of the game board
• Set Formula... -- opens the BlitzIn formula dialog box.
• Log My Games -- log all games in PGN format (Portable Game Notation) into handle.pgn in the BlitzIn directory.
• Save PGN... -- logs the current game in PGN format (Portable Game Notation) into handle.pgn in the BlitzIn directory.

Actions menu

• Show my rating and notes -- sends finger command
• Show my ICC variables -- sends vars command
• Show my lag time -- sends ping command
• Show my recent games -- sends history command
• Show my personal library -- sends liblist command
• Show my adjourned games -- sends stored command
• Observe a high-rated game -- sends observe * command
• List titled players on-line -- sends who T command
• List upcoming events -- sends help event2 command
• Register for a new account -- sends register command
• Extend my membership -- sends extend command

Options menu

• Customize Text... -- set the text properties in the BlitzIn windows.
• Customize Channels... -- set the color of channels.
• Customize Console... -- set the command prefixes, channels, and shouts of the active console.
• Customize User Buttons... -- assign ICC commands to the 10 buttons on the toolbar.
• Customize Sounds... -- customize sounds.
• Fonts... -- customize the font used in the text window
• Set Variables... -- set ICC variables.
• Board -- customize board options.
• Pieces -- choose which piece set is used.
• Colors -- customize the colors of the BlitzIn board and text windows.
• Move-Input -- customize how moves are made.
• Advanced -- control advanced BlitzIn settings.
• Sounds -- toggles whether BlitzIn sounds are on or off.
• System Bell Only -- use the default computer bell, instead of multimedia sounds.

Window menu

• New Console -- creates a new text console
• New Game Board-- creates a new board window
• Toolbar -- toggles whether the toolbar is displayed
• Status Bar -- toggles whether the status bar is displayed
• Seek Graph -- displays a "seek graph" with pending game offers.
• Notify List -- displays window with those on your notify list currently logged in
• Cascade -- arranges the windows in an overlapped fashion
• Tile Horizontally -- arranges the windows in a non-overlapped fashion with wide windows
• Tile Vertically -- arranges the windows in a non-overlapped fashion with tall windows
• Arrange Icons -- arranges icons of minimized windows

Help menu

• Help Topics -- opens page with documentation about BlitzIn 2
• Tip of the Day -- displays hint about using BlitzIn 2
• About BlitzIn... -- shows information about BlitzIn 2
